Where in Germany does history come to life most?
Where is culture at its most varied? In Saxony,
of course. In its history, which spans over 1000 years,
the free state in the south-east of Germany has experienced much and developed a culture that is
typically Saxon. And even if you can breathe in history everywhere in Saxony, and even if culture extends
from the courtly Baroque to traditional folk crafts, it is
the towns and cities of Saxony that are without equal.
It is not only the architectural glory of Dresden and the musical flair of Leipzig that are so inviting but also the varying and typical charms of many other towns.
