In Mühlstraße the city museum with the exhibition focus on early history, urban history, crafts and toys.A former chapel at the old cemetery was converted under the name Capella art into an exhibition hall. Every six weeks art exhibitions change. Much emphasis is placed on a balance between international and regional ties. Beyond the boundaries of Schkeuditz out the chorus kind of Capella is known.Special habitat for plants and animals are at the Lehmlachen Papitz. In this area clay was extracted for brick production. Recent Lehmabbaugebiete - the Papitzer Lehmlachen and the Great Enclosure - are part of the nature reserve established in 1990 Luppenaue.
